Framtidens ingenjörer arbetar med maskinsäkerhet från start – Luleå tekniska universitet

The engineers of the future work with machine safety from the start

At Cedoc, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with motivated students from Luleå University of Technology on a project involving both CE marking and machine safety. During the project, the students used CEDOC to support their work with technical documentation, risk assessment, action plans, EC declarations, and control reports — all in full compliance with the Machinery regulation 2006/42/EC and AFS 2023:4.

Through the project, the students not only gained a greater understanding of CE marking and safety requirements, but also valuable insight into what it is like to work as an engineer in a development project with many stakeholders.
The result? A design that meets current legal requirements – and a group of students who are well prepared for their future careers.

Working together for a safer future

We believe in the power of collaboration with universities. By equipping students with the right tools, we can work together to shape a future where machinery is not only more efficient but also safer for everyone.

Offering free access to CEDOC for university students is our investment in the future of machine safety. We are proud to contribute practical experience during their education and see this as an important step toward fostering a culture of safety from the very beginning.
