Small Improvements – Extraordinary Results
We continuously receive valuable feedback and requests from our users, which greatly influences our development efforts. It’s rewarding to deliver on many of these requests and see the impact of our improvements.
New Features to Enhance Efficiency in CEDOC
One common request has been a quicker way to navigate the risk assessment function in CEDOC, allowing users to focus on key areas more efficiently. Now, users can quickly highlight categories that are not applicable, saving significant time that was previously spent manually reviewing each question. As Max puts it, ”A small step for CEDOC, but a big leap for users.”
There are several other small updates in the latest release that promise significant benefits. For instance, users will now be able to color-code risk assessments and flag risks with different colors to prioritize tasks or revisit issues later. Max also highlights the ability to filter the action report for a clearer overview, streamlining the process for everyone involved.
Automatic Updates for Legal Changes
With the Swedish Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket) releasing new guidelines at the turn of the year, Max notes an increase in questions about the new AFS (AFS 2023:4) and upcoming Machine Regulation (2023/1230). Many companies use CEDOC to ensure compliance with machine safety regulations. The latest version of CEDOC introduces automatic updates, keeping users informed with the most current standards and legal requirements. ”These updates will provide a sense of security for users and help ensure compliance within their organizations,” says Max.
Looking Forward
Max is optimistic about the future, now that CEDOC’s infrastructure allows more agile and flexible updates. “We’re seeing a shift in the industry, where CE marking and machine safety are no longer just about compliance — they’re part of a broader commitment to sustainability and workplace safety. Employers want to make a positive change, and we’re excited to be part of that journey,” Max says, reflecting on the growing focus on preventing workplace accidents and incidents.
